Why attract international talent?

Struggling to fill vacancies? South Holland employers increasingly hire international talent to solve skills shortages and strengthen their teams. Here's why it works.

Increase your talent pool

Demand for technical and specialist roles outstrips domestic supply. International recruitment widens your pool to candidates who already have the skills you need. Recruit abroad or tap into the international talent pool of graduates, spouses and refugees already in the region.Β

Connect to global markets

Language skills and market knowledge help you reach customers beyond the Netherlands, useful for companies with international clients or plans to expand abroad. It brings direct experience of how products, services and communication land in other markets.Β

Diversity spurs innovation

Teams with varied backgrounds bring a wider range of approaches to problems. Internationals bring adaptability, loyalty and determination, qualities that show in how quickly they take on new challenges, helping teams innovate faster in leading technologies.Β

How to attract international talent?

Hiring from abroad follows a clear path: find and recruit candidates, arrange the permits and paperwork to hire them, support their move, and help them settle in for the long term. Happy employees and families will stay. Here's what matters at each step.
